Has anyone else heard the recent updates about Eric Dean Barnes' case? I remember "E" from his barber shop—always had a smile and a kind word for everyone who came through his doors. It's been over a year, and it feels like we're still waiting for answers. I can't help but think about his daughters and how devastating this must be for them. Losing a parent is unimaginable, especially under such tragic circumstances. I heard there was a candlelight vigil planned last month in Moss Point to honor his memory and call for justice. It's heartening to see the community coming together, but it's so frustrating that there's still so much we don't know. I keep hoping for a breakthrough, for someone to step forward with the information needed to give Eric's family the closure they deserve. If anyone is local and has attended the recent community meetings or seen anything new in the news, please share. We can't let "E" be forgotten, and we have to keep the pressure on to solve this case.
