I've been following Savannah Branson’s case on and off for a while and was reminded of it when her details were finally entered into the NamUs database in 2020. Something that's been bothering me is the delay in filing her as missing. It seems strange that there was such a lag before her case gained a bit of traction. I get that runaways don't always get the same attention, but an eight-year gap seems pretty unusual, doesn't it? It makes me wonder if there were any other runaway cases from the CRC around that time that suffered the same fate—delayed action and oversight. If anyone knows about similar cases or has any insight into why it took so long, I'd be interested to hear your thoughts. Maybe comparing notes on other cases might shed some light on patterns or reasons for the delay. Savannah deserves more attention, and every piece of information could help.

Does anyone know if there was ever an update from the Children's Recovery Center? It's been so many years since Savannah Branson vanished from there, and I'm curious if the facility initiated any changes or policies afterward. It seems like places like CRC would have some records or insights, even if it's just for internal use. It's worrisome to think that someone could just leave a facility like that. It would be helpful to know if any measures were taken to prevent future incidents. Maybe someone local to Norman, Oklahoma might have more info on this?
