Has anyone else been following the story of Charlotte Bernice Cook and Leslie Glenn Carpenter? It's unsettling to think about how they both ended up in Oklahoma, so far from home. I can't imagine what their families have gone through all these years without answers. The fact that the truck was found stolen is a piece of the puzzle that could mean so many things. Were they trying to get away from someone, or did someone force them to drive to Cloudy? It's frustrating that after so much time, there's still so much we don't know. I really hope new information comes to light soon. The OSBI must be overwhelmed, but public tips could make all the difference here. If anyone reading this knows something, even if it seems small, please think about reaching out to them. These families deserve some peace and closure.
