Hey everyone, I can't stop thinking about young Katherine and her baby brother Amario, two lives lost before they even had the chance to really begin. It's truly devastating to consider the potential they had and the futures they were robbed of. I read somewhere that Katherine was really into drawing and wanted to be an artist when she grew up. Just imagining the loss of that creative spirit really gets to me. Something that’s been weighing on my mind is the impact on their school friends and classmates. Does anyone know if there were any memorials or community events held for them? Kids losing someone their own age to violence can be incredibly traumatic. I hope they were offered counseling and support. It would be comforting to hear if the community came together to remember Katherine and Amario and supported each other through this unthinkable time. Let’s keep all those affected in our thoughts and do our best to keep their memories alive. If anyone has more info on community responses or ways we can continue to honor their memories, please share. ? #JusticeForRebeccaAndFamily Stay safe, everyone.

I’ve been following the case around Rebecca Cizek and her family for some time, and it just keeps weighing heavily on my mind. It's a terrible tragedy, and I can't stop thinking about Katherine, especially since she was so young. Being only 16, she had her whole life ahead of her. The anguish her friends and school community must have felt upon hearing the news is unimaginable. I can’t help but wonder how such trauma impacts the youth who knew her. It's important to consider the ripple effects incidents like this have on surrounding communities. I really hope they had access to counseling services to help them process such a devastating loss. Anyone know if there were support initiatives set up following the incident?
