Has anyone else read the court transcripts and legal documents about the protective orders Khalid’s family tried to enforce against Majors? It's incredibly disheartening to see the legal system fail to protect the Jabara family despite the evident danger Majors posed. The 2013 protective order should have been a clear indication that this situation was escalating. Seeing the repeated harassment and then the tragic outcome really makes me wonder how we can improve our systems to prevent these tragedies in the future. My heart goes out to Khalid’s family, who showed immense courage in facing such relentless threats. Hopefully, discussions about cases like this can lead to real changes in how protective measures are assessed and enforced.
