I recently came across the case of Kenneth Sellers, Thomas Lee Brown, and Cara Brown, and I can't stop thinking about the bigger role that cell phone evidence played in securing convictions for their murders. Sometimes we underestimate how much digital footprints can be significant in solving cases like these. It's incredible to see how both prosecution and defense experts agreed that the defendants' stories didn't add up with what the cell phone records showed. I imagine it must have been devastating for the families to relive the trauma in court, but I’m grateful for the meticulous work of the investigators and tech experts that ultimately helped bring some sense of justice. Sending strength to the families who had to endure such a long and heart-wrenching ordeal. Does anyone else think that cell phone data is becoming one of the most powerful tools in crime-solving nowadays?
