I just wanted to share my thoughts on this tragic case. It's so difficult to process how a simple act like walking to your car can end in such senseless violence. I've read that Jeannie was a vibrant part of the community, always involved, whether it was at her job or through her beadwork. It’s gut-wrenching that her life was taken in such a brutal and unexpected way. Has anyone heard much about the impact this incident has had on the residents at the Sawmill Apartments? I imagine the fear and sadness must be overwhelming for them. I truly feel for Jeannie's family and friends; the void she leaves behind must be immense. I hope the community can come together to support them during this incredibly challenging time.

I've been following Jeannie's case, and something that's been on my mind is the young age of the suspects involved. It's beyond belief that someone just 19 years old, and even more distressingly, teenagers as young as 14 were implicated. It's like a wake-up call about what's happening in our communities, especially with youth. Jeannie seemed to be well-loved and deeply tied to Tulsa, which makes this reality all the more difficult for those who knew her. I can't help but think of the families involved—the pain they must endure knowing such young people were capable of such violence. It's a tragedy that extends beyond just Jeannie's death, affecting both her loved ones and the families of these kids. I hope the community can rally together and strive to find ways to reach these youths before it's too late, to prevent another precious life like Jeannie's from being stolen so senselessly.
