Has anyone delved into the influence community dynamics might have had on Malcolm Shrubbs' case in Lawton? It's really unsettling to think about how smaller communities can sometimes inadvertently hinder investigations. From what I understand, Lawton had quite a few unsolved cases back in the early 2000s, and it makes me wonder how much local culture and close-knit relationships may impact these investigations. I read that some of the victims during that time had high-risk lifestyles. It's so important that we don't let these facts overshadow the need for justice and empathy. The stigma attached to such lifestyles might have led to less urgency in solving these crimes, or even contributed to the lack of cooperation from potential witnesses. It makes me think of the families ... they’re left without answers, without closure, which just seems unimaginable. How do we, as a community, ensure that every case gets the attention it deserves, regardless of a victim's background? Keeping the conversation alive is crucial. What do you all think could be done to improve how these types of cases are handled?

Hey everyone, I've been thinking about the tragic cases in Lawton, especially during that dark period from 1999 to 2003. I can't help but feel for the community there, especially friends and families of the victims who never got answers. One thing that's been on my mind is the role that advances in forensic science might play in finally bringing justice to these women. I recently read about how DNA testing has evolved, and it gives me a glimmer of hope that new techniques could potentially identify perpetrators, even after all these years. It's tough to imagine living with such uncertainty, not knowing who was responsible or why. The passage of time without resolution must be incredibly difficult. I keep wondering if there are more details that the public doesn't know yet, or if someone who knows something is still out there. Often, it's just one small piece of information that breaks a case wide open. Keeping hope alive and spreading awareness about these unsolved murders could make all the difference. If you're from the area or have any insights, your thoughts would be really interesting to hear. ?

Has anyone else been following the discussions about Malcolm Shrubbs from Lawton? I recently came across the series of unsolved murders in Lawton between 1999 and 2003 and couldn’t help but draw some parallels. Although Malcolm’s case doesn’t seem directly tied to those earlier crimes, I find it unsettling how many lives have been impacted by violence in Lawton. These women, who were part of vulnerable communities, deserve justice, and their families deserve answers. I keep hoping that with today's advanced forensic technology, the OSBI might finally crack one of those cold cases, potentially bringing peace to the families involved. If anyone knows of any new developments or details about Malcolm’s case or the others from that period, I'd appreciate hearing about it. It's important we keep discussing these cases to ensure they don't stay buried in the past. Thinking of Malcolm's loved ones and all the families still waiting for closure.
