I still can't wrap my head around the amount of evil it takes to not only commit these murders but to set a fire afterward. It's chilling to think about those last moments for Ramon and little Maziah, especially knowing they had smoke in their lungs. How terrifying and painful it must have been. This isn't just a crime but an utterly senseless act of violence against innocent people. I hope Conard's decision to testify does bring a sliver of peace to Ramon and Hosea’s families. But it still doesn't fill the void they've left behind. Justice might have been served, but the impact of this heinous act will linger on in the community and in the hearts of everyone who knew them. Thoughts are with everyone affected by this nightmare of a case.
