I was reading about the tragic case involving Roshawna Stevens and it's absolutely devastating for all involved. While we don't have answers yet, I've been thinking a lot about Elijah Mothershed and his role in the community. From what I've gathered, he was really committed to uplifting at-risk youth through his non-profit. It’s heartbreaking that someone who positively influenced so many lives was taken away in such a violent manner. Elijah seemed to truly believe in second chances and providing people with the skills they needed to succeed. It's so important that his work doesn't get forgotten in all this, especially considering the lives he touched. It's my hope that the community continues to build on his legacy and that justice is served for all the victims in this senseless tragedy. My thoughts are with their families and friends who must be going through an incredibly difficult time.
