I’ve been following David Kawika Pukahi’s case since it first came to light, and something that's always puzzled me is the involvement of Gabriel Schmidt and Shawn Hardy. How is it possible that despite witnesses seeing them assault and kidnap David, neither of them have faced charges or serious questioning? It feels like a huge gap in the investigation. Were there any updates on whether they were ever officially named as suspects or if there’s been any movement on tracking them down? It just seems strange to me that with eyewitnesses and a vehicle description, there hasn't been more traction on this. Trying to wrap my head around what could have happened during the early stages of this investigation. Would love to hear others' thoughts on this or if anyone knows more details about what might have held back any potential arrests.

I came across this case about David Kawika Pukahi, and something caught my attention regarding his daily routine. It's been mentioned he often spent time in the North Shore areas of Haleiwa and Waialua. I’ve been wondering if anyone has more details on why these spots were significant to him? Did he have friends or family there, or maybe specific businesses he used to visit regularly? It seems like understanding his usual haunts could provide some context or maybe even lead to new insights. It's just so unsettling how someone can just vanish without a trace—even with witnesses—and still no concrete leads. If anyone knows more about his connections in the North Shore, it might help piece things together.
