I was thinking about the role bystanders played during the tragic event outside the Stillhouse Bar and Grill when Omar Jimenez was shot. Witnesses reportedly detained Cesar Fernandez until the police arrived, which was a brave but undoubtedly difficult action to take under such intense circumstances. It's haunting to think about how quickly things escalated and how decisions made in those high-stakes moments can impact lives forever. I can't imagine how distressing it must have been for those who witnessed the event unfold, and my thoughts are with them as well as Omar's family during this painful time. It’s a stark reminder of how critical it is to act with care and caution in volatile situations. If any locals have attended the bar or heard anything more about the community's response, it would be insightful to hear how everyone is coping.
