I just can't stop thinking about Selena's children and what they must be going through. Losing a mother in such a violent way — I can't even begin to imagine the trauma they're facing. It's such a cruel experience for any child to endure, especially witnessing such horror first-hand. I've read that family members have stepped in to care for them, which is a relief, but no child should have to grow up without their mom because of such senseless violence. It makes me wish there were more resources or awareness campaigns out there focused on supporting kids in these situations. They deserve so much more care and guidance as they navigate this tragic aftermath. If anyone knows of organizations helping with domestic violence survivors' children, please share them here. Let's hope these little ones find some peace and healing in the days ahead.

Hey everyone, I've been following Selena Escalera-Pacheco's case closely, and something that's been on my mind is the impact on her children. They were right there during this unspeakable tragedy—which is something no child should ever have to witness. It's hard to even begin to fathom the emotional scars such an event can leave on young minds. I keep thinking about what the support system for those kids looks like now. Are they receiving the proper counseling and care? It's so important that they have a strong network around them to help process what happened and guide them through such a difficult time. If anyone has insight into available resources or organizations that might help families in similar situations, it would be good to share them. My heart goes out to Selena's family and friends as they navigate this unimaginable loss. They must be facing so many challenges, and I hope they're able to find some semblance of peace and hope in the future. Any thoughts or resources on supporting her kids would be appreciated. Let's try to help in any small way we can. Take care, everyone.
