I can’t imagine the pain Aubrey Perkins' family is going through right now. I was reading about how they’ve organized several community events to raise awareness about the signs of domestic violence following the tragedy. It's comforting to see people coming together in such a supportive way, but it’s a reminder of how crucial it is to talk about these issues openly. From what I’ve gathered, Aubrey was known for his kindness and was well-loved in Duncan, which makes the situation even more difficult to process. My heart goes out to everyone who knew and cared for him. Has anyone heard anything about the city implementing any new initiatives to address domestic violence since this happened? It seems like such a necessary step to prevent more tragedies like this one.

I've been following the Duncan Walmart shooting case, and I just can't stop thinking about the bystanders who witnessed the entire tragedy. It's hard to imagine what it must have been like to be in that parking lot, hearing gunshots and seeing such a horrible event unfold right in front of them. I read that the police arrived within a minute of the 911 call, which is really commendable, but it's still so tragic that they couldn't have been there sooner to prevent the loss of lives. I sincerely hope that those who witnessed the event are getting the support they need to process the trauma. It's a reminder of how life's ordinary moments can change in an instant, and I can't help but feel a lot for the Duncan community as they try to heal from this ordeal. How do we even begin to tackle these kinds of situations to prevent them in the future?

I’ve been following this case since it first happened and it’s still so unsettling. My heart goes out to Aubrey and Rebecca’s families, who must still be dealing with incredible pain. I’ve been thinking a lot about the bystanders who were there that day. Witnessing something like that must be incredibly traumatic, especially at a place as mundane as a Walmart, which is usually packed with families and kids. I wonder if any of the witnesses have talked about their experiences or if there have been local resources for them to process this trauma. It seems crucial that we remember the wider impact of these tragedies – it’s not just the direct victims who suffer. Hope the community in Duncan continues to receive support. ?
