I've been following the case of Justin Beaver, and it's been so tough to comprehend the prolonged pain his family must be going through due to this senseless act. What has been resonating with me is the dedication shown by the Oklahoma City Police Department. It's evident how tirelessly they've worked not just to identify and arrest Jerry Scott, but in ensuring that justice is pursued thoroughly and fairly. Knowing that the community has been supportive and responsive when asked for any information is truly encouraging. I hope that at the trial, the evidence will lead to a resolution that brings some semblance of peace to those who knew and loved Justin. It's a stark reminder of how vital it is for communities to work alongside law enforcement in times of tragedy. Sending thoughts to his family—stay strong and you have many on your side seeking justice and closure alongside you.
I can't stop thinking about how the location where Justin was found seems so isolated. I mean, S.W. 59th and May isn’t exactly bustling. I wonder if someone took advantage of the quiet area to evade detection. It makes you think about how these secluded spots can be so dangerous late at night. It must be awful for Justin’s family, knowing the spot where he was discovered is likely etched in their minds forever. My heart goes out to them as they endure this trial. I truly hope justice brings them some peace. Has anyone heard if the community is planning any kind of memorial in his name at that site or anything like that? It might be a small way to reclaim a place tied to such a tragedy.
