It's so upsetting to think about the little granddaughter who had to witness such a tragic event. I can't imagine the confusion and fear that must have overwhelmed her in that moment. I hope she's getting the love and support she needs from her family to work through this trauma as she grows up. It's also incredibly sad to hear how Billy was just trying to protect his daughter from an abusive situation. It's such a stark reminder of how dangerous domestic disputes can become. I truly hope justice is served for Billy and his family, and the authorities can find Quantrell Young soon. Anyone else following this story feel the same?

Hi everyone, I’ve been following the case of William “Billy” Ross, and something keeps weighing on my mind. The fact that this all unfolded in front of his 1-year-old granddaughter is incredibly distressing. I can't even begin to imagine how those moments might impact such a young child as she grows older. It seems likely that this little girl will carry some part of this trauma with her, unbeknownst to her right now. As we piece together stories like this one, it's so important to remember the ripples that violence creates, affecting so many lives beyond the immediate victim. The family will have so much to process, and I hope they have the resources to support not only themselves but particularly the granddaughter as well. I think about the long journey they have ahead in healing from such a loss. Has anyone heard if there’s been any counseling provided for the family, especially the granddaughter? It would be helpful to know if the community is rallying around them in other ways besides the balloon release. Sending them lots of strength during such a trying time.
