Just saw a post about Leonard Dewayne Walker's case, and it got me thinking about the neighborhood where this tragedy happened. I've got some friends in Tulsa who talked about how Admiral and South 111th East Avenue has had its issues, but it was always the kind of place where people hoped things would turn around. Leonard’s shooting feels like another devastating blow to the community, and it’s hard not to wonder if things will ever improve. I've been seeing more threads discussing the need for community outreach programs. Maybe this could be a great opportunity to bring more awareness and resources to the area to prevent future tragedies? My heart goes out to Leonard's family and friends. It's such a loss, and I hope we see some change before another family has to go through this. ?
