I was reading about the Zachariah Perry case and couldn't help but think about how complex self-defense claims can be in situations like these. It's really unsettling how quickly things can escalate, and it seems like everyone involved has had their lives changed in an instant. When I saw that Rodrick Liggens was initially facing charges, I wondered how they determine who was truly acting in self-defense and who wasn't. It must have been terrifying for everyone there. I really feel for Zachariah Perry’s family; losing someone so suddenly must be incredibly difficult, especially when the circumstances are so complicated. I'm hoping the investigation helps bring some clarity to what happened that night and provides justice for all those affected.
