It's truly devastating to think about how senseless acts can have such a profound impact on so many lives. I've been following Aidan Fincher's case closely and recently came across something I hadn't considered before—the role of the apartment complex in all of this. I can't help but wonder: should there be more stringent requirements for apartment buildings where firearms are involved? Could thicker walls have made a difference in preventing this tragedy? I know it’s wishful thinking in hindsight, but maybe there are ways to push for better safety measures in shared living spaces to prevent such accidents in the future. It must be so overwhelming for Aidan’s family to think that a simple structural difference could have altered the chain of events that day. My heart truly goes out to his wife and unborn child, and his whole family. They're left with such a massive hole in their lives due to the negligence of others. I hope this tragedy sparks some kind of change in building codes or regulations. Would love to hear different perspectives on this.

Has anyone explored the acoustics of the Lakeside Place Apartments? I feel like this aspect hasn’t been discussed enough. I’ve lived in apartments with paper-thin walls, where you could hear every word from your neighbors. If that's the case here, it might mean Aidan and his wife could have been constantly hearing the arguments next door, adding even more stress and fear to their lives prior to the tragedy. It’s disturbing to think about the terror they must have felt in those last moments, and how something as everyday as arguing could turn fatal in such close quarters. My heart goes out to his wife and their unborn child who have to navigate life after such a senseless loss. Has anyone heard if this has been considered in the case at all?
