I've been following the case of Mitchell Dean Roberts, and one detail that's been really sticking with me is how this all unfolded because of a contraband cell phone. It's chilling to think how something so minor could orchestrate such a violent act from behind bars. I'm trying to wrap my head around the sheer reach and cunning of Zachary Millard. It's tragic that Mitchell's life was taken in his own home, a place that should have been safe. I can't imagine what his family is going through, knowing that this attack was planned so meticulously. I hope this case brings more attention to how contraband can be controlled better within prison systems. It might save lives and prevent another tragedy like this.
