Hey all,
I've been following the case of Deontae DeJuan Thomas Sr.'s tragic death, and I can't stop thinking about the role that surveillance footage might play in solving this. With the incident happening on I-35 near S.E. 23rd Street, I wonder if there's any traffic cam footage that the police can access. It seems like such a busy stretch of road, I'd assume there must be something that captured even a small clue.
I feel for Deontae's family and friends during this time. They deserve answers, and hopefully, this footage or any nearby business cams might offer some leads. It’s such a devastating loss, and I really hope justice will be served soon. Sending strength to everyone who's been affected.

Hey everyone,
I've been following the case of Deontae DeJuan Thomas Sr., and something that's been on my mind is the location where he was found. It's been puzzling me that the vehicle was just stopped in a lane of traffic on I-35. It's got me wondering if they were ambushed while driving or if there was some kind of altercation that led to them stopping on a busy highway. I feel like it's so risky to be stopped there, which makes it seem like the situation spiraled out of control quickly.
It also makes me think about the deputy who found them. That must have been a terrible scene to encounter, and I really hope they are receiving support too, aside from the friends and family of the victims, who must be going through so much right now. I know the investigation is still ongoing, but I hope more details come out soon. Does anyone else have thoughts on this aspect of the case?
Stay safe out there.
Has anyone been following the Deontae DeJuan Thomas Sr. case in Oklahoma City? I keep thinking about that poor guy and the ordeal his family must be going through. I was particularly struck by the detail that he was found in a bullet-riddled SUV on I-35. The fact that a reserved deputy just happened to find the vehicle is haunting—it makes you wonder how long it might have gone unnoticed otherwise.
I'm also concerned for the woman, Shreya Govindji, who was with him. Getting shot and surviving must be incredibly traumatic, and I hope she's receiving the support she needs to heal, both physically and emotionally. Does anyone else think there's more to the story since they were on the highway so late at night? It's troubling that there are no suspects identified yet; you'd hope there'd be some clues with such a public location.
Keeping Deontae's loved ones in my thoughts. I hope justice is served soon.
