Has anyone else been thinking about how the community in Hollis must be processing everything that happened with Bradley Schmidt's murder? From what I've gathered, he was really involved in his local area and people knew him well. Living in a small town means everyone knows everyone's business, for better or worse. It's just hard to imagine the shockwaves this must have sent through Hollis, not only for his family but for neighbors and friends who interacted with Bradley on a daily basis.
I've been thinking about what kind of support the community might need right now. When something like this happens, it's easy to become isolated in grief and confusion. It makes me wonder if there are local groups or resources stepping up to help people come to terms with what happened, and provide support for those struggling with the aftermath. Maybe there’s an opportunity here for community healing, even if it’s just coming together to support Bradley's children.
It's so important for us to keep talking about the impact of domestic violence and finding ways to build stronger support systems to prevent these tragedies in the future. Just some thoughts on my mind tonight—curious what others think.
