I've been following the case of Frank Jerald Frye, and one thing that really sticks out to me is the detail about the gold retirement badge he took with him that day. It makes me wonder why he felt the need to carry it. Could it have any significance to his murder or was it just a coincidence? Perhaps someone wanted it for more than sentimental reasons, and if he kept it at home usually, why did he choose that particular day to bring it along? It's heartbreaking to think about how a respected officer like him, embarking on his well-earned retirement, met such a senseless end. I sincerely hope his family finds some peace and that justice is eventually served. Does anyone else have any thoughts on the badge, or maybe a different angle on this?
