Has anyone else here looked into the case of Dr. Thomas Speer from 1971? While the theories themselves are puzzling, I can't help but wonder about the motives behind the shooting. The fact that witnesses reportedly saw a yellow car suggests there was some premeditation involved. What really gets to me is the idea of a disgruntled patient being a potential suspect. As a physician, you'd hope to be a beacon of trust and healing for your patients, not a target for violence. It's just such a disturbing thought that someone he might have tried to help could have played a part in this.
It's equally troubling thinking about the impact on his family. The aftereffects are just devastating—losing a wife and a son in such tragic ways really underscores the ripple effects of unsolved crimes. For the sake of his surviving family and the community that clearly still feels this loss, I sincerely hope this cold case finds a resolution soon. Anyone here have any thoughts on the other theories?
