Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the victims of the Living Church of God shooting, especially young James Gregory. It breaks my heart to imagine what his family must be going through, having lost both him and his father, Randy, that day. I came across an old newspaper clipping that mentioned how active James was in his community - just a regular teenager who loved sports and was always helping out at church events. It's so tragic that such a bright young life was taken in this senseless act. One thing that’s been on my mind is the impact of this on James' friends and classmates. Losing someone so young and in such a violent way is unbelievably tough. I hope the school had grief counselors available, and I really hope James' friends found the support they needed to cope with this tragedy. It's horrifying to think about how these acts of violence ripple through communities, affecting not just the immediate family, but everyone connected to the victims. My thoughts are with everyone who knew James and his dad, and I hope they find some comfort in sharing memories and keeping their spirits alive through those who loved them.
