Has anyone else been completely haunted by the details of how Cha Vang was discovered? It's so horrifying to think about someone deliberately hiding a body under logs and debris in an attempt to conceal such a brutal crime. I can’t imagine the devastation his family must have felt when they learned what happened to him. It’s distressing to think that the racial tensions in the area could lead to such senseless violence. While I'm glad Nichols was convicted, and justice was somewhat served, Vang's family is left with an irreplaceable void. How do we even begin to address the deep-seated issues that lead to something so tragic? My thoughts are with Vang’s loved ones and the community that’s been affected.
