I can't stop thinking about Maelyn Lind's incredible bravery during the Azana Day Spa shooting. From what I've read, she tried to protect Zina's daughter at the cost of her own safety. It's so devastating to imagine the chaos of that day, yet in the midst of it all, Maelyn's selflessness shines through. I just can't help but wonder how many lives she potentially saved with her actions. Her family's loss is unimaginable, and my heart goes out to them and everyone affected by this horrific event. The courage and compassion she displayed should never be forgotten. It makes me reflect on how we can all contribute to making some real, positive change to prevent domestic violence and protect those at risk. If anyone knows more about the efforts in her memory to push for better measures, I’m really interested in learning how we can support.
