I've been reading up on Angel L. Linder's case, and something's been bothering me about the timeframe mentioned. From what I understand, Tanner Rix called 911 hours after Angel was tragically shot. Does anyone else find this odd? I can't imagine the anguish her family must feel knowing that crucial time was lost. It's really troubling to think about what might have happened during those hours. I can't wrap my head around why someone wouldn't seek help immediately unless they were hiding something. This delay, in my opinion, played a huge role in the focus shifting towards Rix. I'm curious if anyone knows more about what was happening during those hours between the shooting and the 911 call, or if it came up during the trial? It's such a devastating situation for everyone involved.
Wow, just found myself thinking about Angel L. Linder today and how much her story still resonates all these years later. I was reading through some old articles and came across a mention of the local candlelight vigil they held for her in Baldwin back in 2014. It was organized by her friends and family to honor her memory.
So many people came out to show their support, which is a testament to how loved she was. Truly, it breaks my heart to think of the pain and suffering her loved ones must have gone through. It’s even more moving to know that their gathering helped bring more awareness to domestic violence and encourage others who might be silently suffering to reach out for help.
If there's one light in this tragedy, it’s that Angel’s story continues to inspire so many people to take action. We need to keep having these conversations and supporting organizations that work tirelessly to prevent domestic violence. Hug those you love a bit tighter today, everyone. ? Remembering Angel.
