Has anyone been following Donte D. Thompson's case? I recently came across some of the proceedings and was struck by the mention of a lack of witnesses willing to step up. It's alarming how silence can impede justice, especially in cases that deeply affect families and communities. It makes me wonder what we as a community can do to change this. It’s understandable that people might be scared, but without brave individuals willing to come forward, resolving these cases becomes incredibly difficult. I can't imagine how hard this must be for Donte’s loved ones, knowing that there could be someone out there with information that could make a difference. If we want to see a reduction in these tragedies, it feels like supporting each other in speaking out is a crucial step. Thoughts on how we can encourage more community cooperation?
