I've been following the Johnson Creek case closely, and I'm still trying to wrap my head around what happened with David Couture. I can't even imagine the confusion and pain his family must be going through, especially his grandmother. It’s just so hard to comprehend how things escalated to that point. From what I've heard, the community has been incredibly supportive. Seeing people come together, lighting candles, and sharing condolences shows how tight-knit Johnson Creek is. It’s moments like these that highlight the importance of a strong community, offering support to those who need it. I hope David's grandmother heals not just physically, but emotionally. I can't even begin to understand the shock and hurt she must be feeling, but I hope she knows that she's not alone in this. It's a stark reminder of how crucial mental health support is and how life can change in an instant. My thoughts are with everyone touched by this tragedy.

Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the impact David Couture’s actions had on Johnson Creek and can’t shake the feeling of how the community must've felt a mix of grief and confusion. It's just so hard to wrap my head around it. I can't help but wonder about the signs that might have been missed - mental health struggles, perhaps? It's no secret that sometimes the ones who seem okay are silently battling the hardest. The way the town came together to honor David's memory, despite the circumstances, truly shows the heart of the community. But beyond that, I hope there’s ongoing support for his family and particularly his grandmother. She went through so much - both physically and emotionally - and I can't imagine how challenging her recovery must be, both as a victim and as someone who loved him. If anyone knows more about local initiatives or resources in place to help families like theirs, it would be great to share them here. Keeping both David and his grandmother in my thoughts. ❤️ Take care, everyone.
