Hey everyone,
I was reading up on the Luis Alejandro Soto Miranda case and something I found interesting was the time of year he went missing. The end of June in southern Arizona means super high temperatures. Does anyone have insights on how people manage traveling through such harsh conditions? I can’t imagine it’s easy, even for those who are prepared. I’m hoping more awareness on the environmental challenges might provide some clues or help future search efforts. Anyone here with experience or knowledge about desert treks like this? I'd love to hear your thoughts.
Has anyone looked into the weather conditions on 6/26/17? I can't help but wonder how the extreme heat in Arizona during that time might have impacted Luis Alejandro Soto Miranda's journey. It was reportedly in the triple digits that day, which could have made any trek incredibly dangerous. I remember hearing about other cases where heat and dehydration became critical factors for those crossing the desert. Does anyone have local news reports or dashboards that recorded temperature for that day? Hoping we can use this info to gather more insights or theories about what might have happened.
