Does anyone else find it concerning how little we've heard about any progress in Cornelius Parks' case? It's been over five years, and I can’t imagine how tough it must be for his family and friends still waiting for answers. Living in a city where gun violence is rampant must be difficult enough without having to endure such a personal tragedy. It's sad that this has become a pattern in Milwaukee, with so many cases going unsolved. I really hope that anyone with information comes forward and helps the police bring those responsible to justice. Cornelius deserves that, and so do his loved ones. Stay strong, Milwaukee community. ?

I came across Cornelius M. Parks’ case, and while my heart hurts imagining the pain his family must feel, I couldn’t help but think about the implications of the time of day this happened. Being shot at around 5:30 a.m. is so unnerving because it disrupts the sense of safety people often feel in the early hours. Morning is usually a time when people are starting their day, possibly heading to work or getting ready for the day’s activities. It’s unsettling to think that violence can erupt at a time typically associated with new beginnings and fresh starts. This tragedy really emphasizes how gun violence doesn’t adhere to any particular time and can strike when least expected. It must be incredibly tough for the community, knowing that no time of day is immune to such senseless acts. I hope the authorities find justice for Cornelius soon and bring some peace to his family and the neighborhood. Safety should be a right for everyone, no matter the hour.
