I’ve been following the case of Naeem Sarosh, and it’s just so upsetting to think about his two young children. Losing a parent in such a senseless way is something no child should ever have to face. As we discuss the details and seek justice, I hope we can all remember the human side of this tragedy—there are real people trying to pick up the pieces of their lives. It's clear from everything I've read that Naeem was a kind and dedicated person, not only in his work but also at home. His loss is deeply felt by those who knew him and even those who didn’t. While anger toward Afzal is understandable, my heart goes out most to the kids and his wife, who now have to navigate life without Naeem’s support and love. I hope the community can come together to support them during this unimaginable time.
