It's been on my mind how Corey Tucker's family is coping with this tremendous loss. A friend of mine knew him back from his days in Joliet and said he was always so full of ideas and ambition. It’s just so painful to think that all his hard work and dreams were abruptly ended by such a tragic act of violence.
I wonder why we haven't heard much about suspects or arrests. It feels like there’s a lack of information coming out regarding any leads in the investigation, and I can only imagine how difficult that must be for his family and friends. They deserve closure, and Corey deserves justice.
I'm curious if anyone in the area has heard or seen anything about community efforts or vigils being organized in his memory. It would be nice to bring more attention to his case and keep his legacy alive. It's so important for us to remember that behind every headline is a person who was deeply loved and is terribly missed.
Does anyone else find it incredibly moving how Corey's businesses were all centered around creativity and empowerment? It's clear he was committed to uplifting not just himself but also his community. Power Moves Only, Drape Nation, and Getting Money World Wide Records weren't just businesses—they were platforms for others to elevate their own lives. It's such a tragedy that the same city he invested so much into was where his life was unjustly taken. His absence is undoubtedly felt deeply by those who knew him and benefitted from his vision and leadership. I hope sharing these positive aspects of Corey's life helps keep his spirit alive while we all wait for justice to be served. Let’s not forget the beauty he brought into this world.
