I've been thinking about the role that community support played in the aftermath of Gerald D. Thames' tragic murder. From what I've read, the local community in Milwaukee really came together, offering support to Gerald's family and friends during such a difficult time. It's truly touching to see how people rallied around them, holding vigils and creating memorials. This kind of unity is so important and shows the positive side of humanity even amidst such senseless violence. It must have provided at least some solace knowing that others care deeply about justice being served. Does anyone know more about the community initiatives or events that took place? I'm curious about how these efforts might have helped the family cope with their loss.
