Can we just stop for a minute and think about what kind of impact it must have had to be that woman who witnessed everything? She didn't just lose friends in a horrifically violent way, but she had to live through that moment and bear the permanent scars. I can't even imagine the trauma she's had to endure since that night. It's so easy for us to focus on the legal drama and the suspects, but what about the lives shattered by this tragedy? The families of Peng, Nemo, and Trevor must be going through unimaginable pain. I hope they find some sense of justice and peace as these legal proceedings unfold. And to the witness—wherever she is, I pray she's surrounded by love and support, finding strength to keep moving forward.
