I just came across the case of Lester D. Holmes, and I can't help but feel for his family and friends who are dealing with such a huge loss. Something I find really unsettling is how little we know about the investigation. Without more information about any arrests or suspects, it must be so difficult for his loved ones to find any semblance of peace or justice. It makes me wonder about the resources and priorities in these investigations. Are there things we, as a community, could push for to help bring more attention to this and similar cases? I'm reminded of other instances where unsolved cases remain in the shadows far too long. If anyone here has suggestions on how communities have successfully rallied for more investigative transparency or helped to elevate a case's profile, I'd love to hear them. My thoughts are truly with those who knew Lester. No one should have to endure such uncertainty on top of their loss.
