I've been following the details of Zarion Waheed's case, and something's really bothering me about the timing and location of the incident. It seems like there are so many unanswered questions, but the fact that this shooting happened in such a busy neighborhood is particularly troubling.
North 52nd Street is usually filled with people at that time of the evening, and yet no one seems to have come forward with solid information. I wonder if there might be surveillance cameras nearby, either from local businesses or traffic cams, that could offer some insights into what happened. It feels like there must be something that could at least give Zarion's family a sense of closure, or help piece together those last moments.
Anyone from the area knows how tight-knit some of these communities can be. It's frustrating to see the silence when a young life has been cut short so violently. I hope more people come forward with what they know, even if it's just a small detail. My thoughts go out to Zarion's family and friends during this incredibly difficult time.
Hi everyone,
I've been following the tragic case of Zarion Zakee Waheed, and something has been on my mind that I haven't seen discussed much—how the community is coping with this senseless loss. From what I gather, people in the neighborhood initially mistook the gunshot for thunder, which just adds another layer of shock to an already devastating event. I can't help but think about how this kind of tragic violence can really impact a community's sense of safety and trust.
Does anyone know if there have been any community meetings or support initiatives happening in the area since the incident? It could be really beneficial for those who are struggling to make sense of all this. I think it's important to not only seek justice for Zarion but to also provide support for those living in the area who might feel afraid or vulnerable after what happened.
If anyone's local to Milwaukee or has more insight, I'd appreciate hearing how people are coming together—or if there's anything more that can be done to support the family and the community during this incredibly difficult time.
Sending thoughts and strength to all who knew Zarion.
Stay safe, everyone.
