I can't stop thinking about the impact this has had on Melissa's kids, Max and Brynn. It’s just so devastating that they have to endure the loss of their mom in such a traumatic way. I’ve read some stories about how close-knit their family was, and it makes this even more tragic. If they weren't home during the incident, I’m hoping that means they weren’t exposed to the horrible scene, but I worry about their emotional well-being moving forward. I've seen links to the GoFundMe campaign circulating, and while it’s such a small comfort in the grand scheme of things, I hope it helps ease some of the financial stress on the family. The community's support looks like it’s really rallying around them, which is great. Does anyone know if there are any additional resources or local groups stepping in to support Max and Brynn, especially with the holidays coming up? They are going to need a lot of support and love from everyone around them.
