Has anyone else been struck by the tragic case of Antone Johnsen and how his death was handled legally? I find it so puzzling that despite the clear miscommunication and the resulting loss of life, there were no prosecutions. I understand it was ruled an accident, but it leaves me wondering about the accountability aspect. In situations like these, should there be more thorough investigations, even when it's labeled as a misunderstanding? My heart goes out to Johnsen's family, who must have been left with so many questions and not enough answers. It's a sobering reminder of the unpredictable dangers law enforcement officers faced during the Prohibition era.
