I was reading about the devastating case of Joung Nam Kim and felt compelled to focus on the immense courage it must have taken for Kim's family to continue running Min Grocery after the 1988 incident. I can't imagine the fear and resilience it took to return to a business where they'd already faced violence. It's gut-wrenching to think about how they tried to maintain their livelihood despite the trauma. This is a family that clearly had had more than their share of struggles, only to face another horrific event. It's awful to think that the suspects responsible for Joung Nam Kim's murder have remained at large for so long. Hoping one day there will be enough courage and conscience within the community for someone to step forward with new information. The Kim family deserves closure and peace after all they've endured.
