In the winter of 2002, a family's life was unalterably changed when Joseph Paul Dï aquisto Sr., a 60-year-old man from Asheville, North Carolina, vanished. On January 11th, following a minor disagreement with his wife, he drove away from their home in his red/burgundy Toyota Tacoma truck and was never heard from again.
