I can't stop thinking about how James Holloway was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. It's so tragic that he was caught in Cowan’s senseless act of violence. I didn’t know Holloway personally, but one of my friends took his class at PLU and spoke so highly of him. He was described as a really kind and inspiring teacher, someone who genuinely cared about his students and their growth. It's just so difficult to wrap my head around the randomness of it all. A lot of people talk about gun control after incidents like this, and while that's crucial, I hope we don't forget the human aspect—holloway's hopes and dreams that were cut short. Sending love to everyone at PLU and those who knew and loved him. Hug your loved ones tight.
