I've been following the case of Charles M. Burkybile's tragic murder and it's just so unsettling to think about the final moments he faced. I read somewhere that Charles was the property manager at the Harrah Gun Club and it got me wondering about his involvement there. I can imagine him being passionate about that role given his love for fishing, woodcutting, and hunting. It's so sad to think that such a well-respected figure in his community met with such a violent end, particularly while trying to protect his home. I hope the community is rallying around his family and keeping his spirit alive in the activities that he cherished so much. Thoughts with Charles's loved ones during this difficult time.
