Hey everyone, I've been following Cassandra Hampton's case pretty closely, and something really sticks out to me. Despite the fact that Jamell Webb and Jerrel Johnson were apprehended and convicted for illegal gun possession, it's unsettling that Cassandra's death is still considered unsolved. It seems like a real injustice that the person responsible for that stray bullet hasn't been held accountable, and I can't imagine how hard that must be for her family and friends. This case is a stark reminder of how deeply entrenched gang violence can disrupt entire communities. It's infuriating how such senseless violence can claim innocent lives. I’m curious if there have been any community efforts or memorials in Pioneer Square to keep Cassandra’s memory alive and maybe even spark some change. Have any locals here seen anything? I hope justice eventually finds its way in her case. Thinking of her loved ones during what I’m sure is an incredibly difficult time.
