I'm really struck by how complicated DaMarius's case has become in the court system. It really makes me think about how difficult it must be for his family to find any closure with the legal battles dragging on so long. I can't even imagine having to relive the pain every time there's a new development in court. And then there's the fact that the defense brought up issues with evidence and fairness — it just adds another layer of stress for everyone involved. It shows a really darker side of how long and winding our justice process can be, especially with cases involving gangs. It’s a tragic reminder of how much needs to be done to curb gang violence and support the victims' families more effectively. Anyone else have thoughts on how these long legal battles affect the families left behind?
