I've been following the Canfield case closely, and my heart goes out to the families involved. I keep thinking about the role that mental health played in this tragedy. Murry's delusions, like those bizarre claims about shapeshifting and Russian spies, suggest he was deeply unwell. It’s terrifying to think how these untreated issues can escalate into something so devastating. I wonder how many warning signs there were and if any could have been caught sooner. It’s such a tough thing for families to navigate. My thoughts are with the Canfields’ loved ones—what a painful loss to endure. It's a reminder of how important mental health awareness is, especially when someone shows signs of distress. We can only hope for more accessible resources in the future to prevent such tragedies. Stay safe, everyone.
