Has anyone looked into the possibility of a mistaken identity in the tragic case of Miguel A. Lopez and Leonardo Salinas-Lopez? Listening to the families, their young lives seemed full of promise, and it’s devastating to hear about such senseless loss. I’m wondering if anyone else thinks that maybe the truck with Washington plates mistook their vehicle for someone else’s. It was such a random, targeted attack on a quiet path home, and it makes you wonder if perhaps there was a mix-up. I’m hoping someone in the community might have noticed something that night or heard of similar misunderstandings that tragically escalated. Sending so much strength and love to both families who have had to endure this unimaginable pain. It’s infuriating to think about how easily this could’ve been prevented.
