Hey everyone, I've been following the tragic case of Monique Baugh and wanted to talk about a detail that I've been thinking about a lot. In the indictment, it mentions that Cedric Lamont Berry allegedly used a ruse involving a house showing to lure Monique to the location where she was kidnapped. This just hits me so hard because it shows how calculated and premeditated this act was. Monique was a successful real estate agent, just doing her job, and it's heartbreaking to think about the danger she walked into completely unaware. It’s so important we remember who she was beyond the crime. She was not just a victim but also a loving mom, a daughter, and undoubtedly touched many lives. My heart goes out to her family, especially during occasions and milestones that must be incredibly hard now without her. For anyone out there in similar professions, please be vigilant and always trust your instincts, no matter what. It’s terrifying how the everyday can turn dangerous so suddenly. Would love to hear what others in the community think about this aspect of the case or any similar experiences anyone might like to share.
