Has anyone been following the mental health angle in the Cascade Mall shooting? It's so upsetting to think about Chuck Eagan and the other victims who were just going about their day when they were attacked. It seems Arcan Cetin had quite a troubled history with mental health issues. I read that he underwent an evaluation at Western State Hospital, but I wonder if things could have turned out differently if more support or intervention had been in place for him sooner. It’s just devastating for everyone involved—both the victims' families and those who knew Cetin. Does anyone else feel like these kinds of tragedies highlight a failing in mental health care that needs urgent attention? My heart goes out to Chuck’s family and all the impacted families.
